Samantha Young is a traveling wedding photographer, photographing couples around the world. With a signature approach rooted in the art of storytelling, she creates photographs that are as timeless as they are true. 

As Samantha combines an editorial edge with real emotion, she draws inspiration from light, her subjects, and luxurious design elements that make the day unique. Her goal is simple: to create photographs that are beautiful to look at while also staying honest to the experience.

Every wedding is approached with a deep sense of care and collaboration with the team bringing the vision to life, taking the time to understand each couple, their vision, and story of the day, so that every image reflects those in it. Her process is designed to make couples feel comfortable, seen, and fully present- allowing the real moments to come through with ease.

What stood out most about working with Sam was how thoughtfully she approached every part of our experience. Before the wedding, she asked questions no one else had, about the atmosphere we wanted guests to feel,  the timeline, just things that actually impact the experience which we thought was so nice. On the day itself she moved in a way that made being photographed feel effortless yet we had such a fun time! We knew we had chosen the perfect person to document our wedding before the day was over.

Samantha has a rare ability to notice quiet, meaningful moments most people would miss. At one point during cocktail hour, she pulled us aside for portraits when the light shifted and those ended up being some of our favorite pictures from our gallery. She was calm/ intentional/ completely in sync all day. Our photos feel refined and timeless, which is everything what we hoped for!
